For Chai lovers, this is a great creation. I have been a green tea afficionado for years and Japanese Matcha is one of the highest quality teas in the world. It is the tea used for the Japanese Tea Ceremony. This mixture of Matcha tea, sweetener and honeydew flavoring makes for a most delicious Chai tea. It is delicious hot or cold, though I usually prefer it hot. It is served mixed with milk, and I personally enjoy mixing it with Vanilla Soy Milk, which makes a delicious and healthy drink.

Tazo Matcha Green Tea

I was a little sceptical to try a concentrated green tea. However, I was quickly surprised how much I enjoy my Tazo Matcha Green Tea concentrate. I was tired of paying $4 for one at Starbucks (even though they are good!). This was a nice way of getting essentially the same thing. However, I prefer to drink mine with half concentrate and half milk.

It will take some practice to get the mix right for your taste, but if you don't have a latte maker, you can get a good blend here that is a little more or less than 1 to 1. Warm gently and stir constantly.

My local store stopped carrying this tea, was very glad to find you have it! It's a very refreshing drink, hot or cold. I have replaced my usual am coffee with this tea!

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Coffee tastes best when made with freshly ground beans, but we know it's not always a reality to be able to grind your beans every morning- especially if people in the house are still trying to sleep! Instead, try grinding beans once or twice a week in the evening, then storing in the fridge in an airtight container.
