This is is nicest recipe box I've seen. High quality workmanship and very versitile. Looks so nice I keep it on my counter, which I have never done before. Delivery was prompt and product was in perfect condition and exactly as advertised. You can't go wrong if you have a lot of recipes to store or plan on collecting.

It's hard to find a recipe box that can hold hundreds of recipes; well, this is the one. It can hold either 3x5 or 4x6 cards.

Just What I Needed
by Leslie, OK
March 13, 2008

I've been busy combining my mother's recipes with my recipes and I needed a larger than usual recipe box. When I saw this one I knew it was exactly what I'd been looking for. We're building a new house and our painter stained the box to match the stain on the trim in our kitchen. I leave it out on my counter where it is handy. It makes a great compliment to my new space.

I was disappointed that it was just a large box and the description with the box was more for photos than recipes. It did not come with any cards or dividers used for recipes. It is just a large box.

I love that this recipe box holds both 3x5 and 4x6 cards. I ordered one for a gift and then ended up ordering one for myself and another friend.

I can finally fit all of my recipes in the same box! The clear lid is great - no more spots on my recipe cards. Highly recommended for the adventurous cook!

I had three regular size recipe boxes and it was great to put them all together into one big box.

With the exception of the fact that recipe tabs are not included, this is worth the money.

This recipe box is just what I was looking for! It can hold 4x6 or 3x5 recipe cards, and it is big enough to hold a huge amount of recipes. I gave the recipe box as a Christmas gift, but I had a hard time not keeping it for myself!

A Recipe Card Box To Love!
by Rachel, AZ
June 4, 2011

How can you get excited about a recipe box? Let me tell you, both my husband and I have commented about the quality of this one numerous times! I was looking for something to hold about 500 cards (or more!) in one box without seeming too cumbersome. I was almost going to have to resort to the old-fashioned metal index card file box when I happened upon this from Cooking.com. Not only is it efficient, the box is beautifully constructed and looks great on my countertop where it is always within easy reach! Love the durable plexiglass lid & handy knob for opening; also, the divider is the perfect addition whether the box is filled with cards or not. This is one recipe box that does not have to be hidden away in a cupboard! I have just finished furnishing a new home and this is truly one of my favorite purchases!!

I love the product. I always like to keep the recipe cards that people give me because everytime I make that meal it makes me think of the special person who gave it to me. What better way to keep those recipe cards than to have a recipe box that holds any size I get. I would recommed this product to every other person who loves to cook as much as I do.

I purchased one of these for myself over a year ago. I have two daughters and when they saw what I had done with all my recipes using this box, they each wanted one. I bought them for Christmas presents.

Large Maple Recipe Box

It is perfect! Great size and sleek design. I needed a larger box for my ever growing recipe collection, and wanted one that could sit on my counter top, in a new and modern kitchen - nothing cutesy- and look good. Because it is wood we were even able to stain it to match the cabinets.

This is a perfect gift idea, which worked out in my favor! The only downfall is that there were no recipe divider cards to chose from that would go along with this recipe box. Otherwise this is well worth the money.

The maple recipe box is beautiful. It looks very good on the shelf in my pantry. The box is large enough to hold some loose clippings of recipes not just recipe cards.
