I was disappointed in this product because you have to plug in and plug out to control the temperature. I was under the impression that it kept your food warm. It burned my cheese dip so bad that it curdled the cheese. I ended up making more in my microwave for my guests. What made this even worse was that I had purchased two of these because I had a couple of dishes I wanted to keep warm. I definately would not recommend.
I like this product for heating small amounts. The only things I didn't care for were that they didn't have a temperature control for high and low and you can't remove the ceramic to clean. Other than that I'm happy with it and for the price I would recommend it.
I love my Little Dipper! We had a holiday open house last weekend and had two working overtime to keep our dips warm. It's much better than re-microwaving!
I love this little crock pot - we are using it for making hot cereals for breakfast. We plug it into a timer so that it starts a few hours before we get up and have hot steel cut oats or hot grits for breakfast. It is wonderful. Haven't used it for dip yet, but hope it does as nice a job there. Its a great little product. Judi
the little pot can keep many things at a nice warm temp., dips and butter and extra pasta gravy for two as well as regular brown gravy.

Slow cookers work best with tougher cuts or meat with more fat. These cuts will stay juicy and become tender from the long, slow cooking time. If you want a roast, try a cut from the shoulder or leg. You could also try pork stew meat cut from the shoulder or leg, spare ribs or country style ribs.
