Not sharp

An excellent set of knives. I hate the packaging they arrive in (plastic clam shells that are very difficult to open, and packed in a rather large - too large - box with lots of Styrofoam popcorn). Once I got the knives out of the shells, felt the weight and examined the hone of the blades - I knew this was a good purchase. They are well constructed and well balanced knives. They seem to be easy to keep sharp and I like the edge guards (easy to get on and off, but stay on and offer good protection). A very good value at the price I purchased the set at ($99). I would recommend.

Purchased two (2) sets of these as gifts for Christmas. Yes, I'm doing my shopping early this year. Couldn't pass up such a good buy for great knives. Another family member has a set and loves them so there will be a few more sets of these terrific knives in the family.

This is an excellent knife set for any guy looking for cool stylish & masculine kitchen tools that will also make cooking fun! These knives look great, are very sharp and just handling them made me feel more like a chef!

Our knives work great! My fiance has wanted them for a long time because we are both big fans of Guy Fieri. When I saw that they were greatly discounted and Father's Day is right around the corner, I decided to get them. We received all knives including 5 extra paring knives. In other words, I received 1 box of paring knives instead of 1 paring knife.

These knives are the best! Well weighted, attractive. They do the job they're supposed to do. I've gotten by with lousy knives for years. Preparing meals used to be a real drudgery. These knives make it a delight to prepare meals again!

Good knives are one of a cook's most valuable tools. These knives are every bit as sharp and well-balanced as more expensive knives, and they're lightweight and easy to hold. My fiance' and I are trying to replace all of the things we owned with our former spouses with high quality items of our own. I bought these for hm as a start on our knives, and he was extremely pleased. They are really nice knives. We have used them a few times, and they seem to cut, beautifully.

Good quality only complaint is I wish they would have been sold with a knife block instead of the knife guards.this would allow for easier storage and use

We have been looking for good knives for years, but we're hesitate to spend big money. I decided to try these when they were on sale and they have been amazing. So sharp we can now thinly slice out vegetables and meats with ease. Money well spent!!

I'm so glad I decided to buy these knives. I have been wanting to purchase a good set of knives for a long time. The offer on these at the discounted price came at the right time. They are super SHARP! Which is good...LOL! They weight and angle of the handles makes cutting so much easier than the last knives I had.

I bought the knives for my boyfriend and gave them to him for fathers day. It was the only gift that he asked for. He absolutely loved them. He cooks with me every night now. I have used these knives and they are so slick! With hardly any pressure on my part they slice, chop and dice so nicely - I am delighted with my purchase.

I must say i was a bit disappointed in the sharpness of the knives. I expected them to be razor sharp, but they seemed dull. The value? Could have been a little bit cheaper. Everytime I watch any of the cooking shows, the chefs seems to just glide through the veggies, meat, etc. with ease & no effort. I didn't find that with these knives. Sorry. Theresa Powers

These knives have a good grip. They are balanced, sharp AND, unlike many off the shelf chef knife sets, work for left handed people like me.
