A smooth and earthy infusion ideally suited for cooler days and nights. Komodo Dragon Blend®'s full-body has a brilliant crispness that is refreshing and unanticipated since Indonesian coffees are low in acidity. Mingle the depth of Komodo Dragon Blend® with the flavors of maple, butter, cinnamon and toffee for a luxurious experiment.

First introduced as a limited offering in 1997, Komodo Dragon Blend has became a regular Starbucks offering since 1998. Komodo Dragon is a blend of both naturally processed & some washed coffees. Southeast Asia's Finest Blend
by Will, AE

For those of you who enjoy the Starbucks line of Southeast Asian coffees (Sulewesi, Sumatra), you will not be disappointed by Komodo Blend.

Back in 1987, while Starbucks was still a small company, an employee manning the counter at one of their smaller Seattle kiosks hand-blended a small batch of Sulewesi and Sumatra and brewed it for me to sample in a french press. I was hooked! Ever since, I would go into a Starbucks and have them blend these two coffees -- until Starbucks started offering Komodo.

This blend is not for timid tastes and will not disappoint those who desire an extra-bold flavor with strong aromatic earthiness.

Little Luxury
by Tina, MA

We are hooked on this coffee! First time we tasted it at the café and now we can’t drink any other coffee anymore. We seem to compare it to the Komodo Dragon blend ever time. This is our little luxury in a very hectic AM life. Don’t like the price much but sooooooooo worth it!!!
