This cleaver is amazing! I was a bit surprised by the weight but it worked great when I needed to section a whole chicken for dinner last week! Definitely get this!

The weight is pretty heavy. this cleaver is not meant for weak hands. It is very sharp and easy to use.

got my new beast cleaver the other day and couldn't wait to make flattened chicken. this knife takes all the work out of cutting up a whole bird. great weight and super sharp. very happy with it.

For me, this is the perfect all round player in the kitchen. Love the forked end, and the weight is perfect. It is just a bit heftier than some others you might look at, but I thought it felt "just right". When it comes to slicing thicker sandwiches in half, the offset blade is a wonder. And talk about a smooth slice on a tomato, WOW!
All in all,.. I really couldn't hope to find a better utility knife for my tastes.

I don't often require a cleaver, but when this was released I HAD to add it to my collection! A beautiful piece, the heft is perfect, particularly for a guy with medium/large hands.
