Didn't fulfill my need. One of the page tabs said "laboratory" and I have no idea what that is for. I just didn't feel it was going to work for me
I expected more from this and don't feel I got my money's worth. Most of the book is filler and the filler pages used aren't even good for recipes. I expected at least some sample recipes. Also, the quality of the binder itself is a little poor. It fell from my coffee table and the binders popped open and the contents spilled out. While I do like the tips and informational pages, there just wasn't enough there to justify the price charged and there aren't enough lined and/or pre-formated pages usable for recipes.
This book was not even close to what I was expecting. I will get some use out of it but not near what I hoped. That is nothing against the book but more against me for not paying enough attention. I really like Alton Brown and wanted one of his cookbooks. This was not a cookbook at all. Not one recipe inside. So I will let this go and go to a bookstore next time so I can look at the book before I get it.
This binder is well made and durable for use in a kitchen. The organization was well thought out and the information provided is helpful.
