Temperature resistant to 350 degrees, the durable board is nonporous and prohibits bacteria, odors, and staining. This Kitchen Series cutting board is ideal for all food preparation. At 1/4 inch thick the cutting surface is easy to use and cleans up in the dishwasher. Store in the cupboard or hang from a hook.

I'm very pleased with this product and plan on buying one of the larger boards in the near future. This cutting board has been exemplary with the breaking down of meats, and the prepping of vegetables and fruits. It does not dull my knives, nor slide around on the counter. Clean up is a breeze, just pop it in the dishwasher, and its thin shape facilitates easy storage. Since I ascribe to the Alton Brown theory that every tool in the kitchen needs to do double duty, it makes a very fine hot pad for my iron cookware. It's a bonus that it is also made in the US, something that always pleases me.<br>
I find myself reaching for these cutting boards more often than my big chopping block because they are so light, easy to clean, and go into the dishwasher. For messy jobs, like raw chicken or meat, this is particularly handy.

This board gets few if any cuts or scratches in it when used with straight-edged knives. It cleans up extremely well, and although it is thin and easy to store taking up little space, it is also very stable. It does not slip on the counter top, and, most important, it cleans up better than any type of material I have ever used. Keeping cutting boards clean and bacteria-free is so essential, and this board makes it simple. I scrub it with soapy water with a brush in all directions on both sides, and it never holds the smell of any traces of food. I HIGHLY recommend this cutting board for all food uses. This one is my second addition, and now that there are several other sizes, I will be adding more, I'm sure.
We have a couple of these richlite cutting boards and like them very much. Nice to work with, they don't seem to stain, they don't take up much room, and they can go right in the dishwasher.
