I love this cookbook holder! I have been looking for one that was affordable and one works with large cookbooks. This fits the bill to a T.
This is a cheaply built piece of equipment, if you are looking for a serious cookbook holder, this isn't it. In addition, the quality control is lacking. Mine arrived with one of the mounting brackets (that holds the plastic) crooked and the screws stripped.
Could have read the specs a little closer. It's not something I can leave on my counter with a fabulous cookbook displayed because of my lack of counter space. But, really well made and will certainly protect the pages.
I received this cookbook holder a couple of years ago at Christmas and absolutely love it! I got one for my dad for Father's Day. Both he and my stepmother can't wait to use it. Awesome product!
This clunker is hard to store and heavy, but its weight helps it hold and protect larger cookbooks nicely.
It's always tough to keep track of recipes that you want to make from each cookbook. Instead of trying to remember recipe names, or filling each book with sticky notes, make a personal "index" on a piece of paper and store it in the inside front cover. That way, when you're browsing through a cookbook you can write down the name and page number of a recipe that catches your eye, and you can easily refer back to your index instead of flipping through the book to find it.
