This is a great tea kettle. Heats water faster than the stove. I like it that the base stays on the counter with the cord on the base. Another great feature is the the kettle shuts off when it reaches the right temp. I would recommend this to anyone.

This pot does exactly what you want it to do. Heats a lot of water in very short time. Very quiet until the water boils then it turns itself off. The pot opens enough for easy filling. The water is fresh and clean tasting. It is an excellent replacement for my old Betty Crocker pot. The old one was in it's sixth year when I thought it was getting slower: but I was wrong. we love this appliance!

We finally bought this electric kettle as an energy saver. It is also VERY fast! Our only "complaint" is that it is heavier than our old stovetop kettle - but the benefits outweigh this one comment. Love it!
