We finally bought this electric kettle as an energy saver. It is also VERY fast! Our only "complaint" is that it is heavier than our old stovetop kettle - but the benefits outweigh this one comment. Love it!

I like the fact that I can have hot boiling water for my beverages in a very short amount of time. I also use the kettle to preheat water for soups, macaroni etc. Saves time.
