For covered cooking, rotate the lid to close the holes and moisture will stay inside the pan. To pour, remove the lid and use the pour spouts that are built into the pan body.

    This is a very nice pan. It's great for straining vegetables, etc. I have never seen a strainer on a pan other than the very large pots. This is a great size for every day veggies. I enjoy my Circulon pans. They are the best anodized cookware I have ever purchased.

    I loved the weight of the pan, very sturdy. I have enjoyed cooking in it. The strainer lid is very convenient and practical. Will order more of this line.
