This is truly the supreme bread machine! The Zojirushi offers advanced options for your bread baking. It gives you the choice of using the dough cycle by itself, then finishing in your regular oven. In addition, you can make dough for crisp pizza crust, light dinner rolls, mouth-watering cinnamon rolls, hamburger or hoagie buns, artisan breads, sourdough, gluten-free breads and cakes - the possibilities are endless. It even makes fruit jam and has the power and durability for hearty whole grain dough. Twin paddles provide superior kneading action so you get well-raised breads with great texture.

To use, simply place your unmixed ingredients in and choose your setting. The machine alerts you once your bread is ready. The control panel is set at the perfect angle for easy viewing, and the bigger-than-ever window lets you see what's happening inside. With this model, you can open the lid during operation, for adding fruits and nuts without resetting the cycle (it keeps running with the lid open). Choose from a full set of pre-programmed cycles for a variety of breads or create your own custom cycles. You can also program in your own favorite recipes for later use. Recipe & instructions booklet included.

Big Mistake
by Janice, MN

This bread machine is the biggest mistake I have ever made. No matter what setting I use, the crust is burned and hard and the top never browns at all. The bread is dry and coarse. I have tried several recipes and even used a mix and it still didn't turn out. I am thinking all the good reviews it had must not come from real people. I sure was fooled by them. I would NOT recomment this product and I certainly would never buy another one. This is not my first bread machine and I do know how to cook!

I've made several loaves of bread & dough recipes that have not turned out. I've had Breadman Plus for the past 10 yrs. & used the same recipes (from various books, not Breadman) & could hardly mess them up. With this Zojirushi, I've even tried the "homemade" cycle to get it to mimic the Breadman's cycle with no luck. They were somewhat better, but did not end up good loaves. I'm not sure of the real problem, but have an idea the Zojirushi doesn't initially mix as well or as thoroughly and only has one true kneading.
If I use the preset cycles, every loaf I've made has burned and even the doughs have dried out. I will most likely purchase a new Breadman & try again.

Disaster both efforts. A huge mistake.

I can't imagine how others had such good results. I called the information line, made the changes, and still a horrible mess...so much waste of flour and other ingredients and time. I did everything, even weighed the flour, and still terrible loaves... hard as rock, lumpy, ugly and so sad. I feel quite outraged that I succombed to the good reviews on your website.
As it happens, I am not professional, but I review cookbooks and equipment so I am rather experienced and not an amateur. All that training didn't help when it came to this machine.
