Until now I have been very pleased with cookware ordered from Cooking.com. The handles on these pans are shaped in a manner that causes discomfort when lifted. I am returning the pans unused.
I have another Emeril 6qt pan and expected the same quality. I am sorely disappointed. The handle is VERY thin and uncomfortable and get's very hot. Using pot holders or a towel on a handle on a gas stove is not ideal. Is not dishwasher friendly and you can't use cooking spray on it.
These pans are good for the introductory price. But unfortunately I did not know that the Emeril line for All-Clad was so much cheaper in look and construction than their other nonstick pans. The handles look junky and are too lightweight for my taste. I gave these away to my 20-something daughter who is just starting out, and who appreciates any new pots and pans at this stage. I'm meanwhile waiting for real All-Clad quality pieces to go on sale to add to my own kitchen.
pan is to heavy for only 1 handle. it needs a handle or grip opposite the handle
I am not impressed; but they are useful. Offering lids for an additional cost could be an option. This economy inhibits what I would have liked.
