rather using all lean or cheaper beef-problems releasing meat
Actually, I like Tupperware's better. They have a press and individual holders for the burgers for freezing. Unless I'm doing something wrong, it is hard to get the chuck out of the press without ruining the shape of it.
I used it once so far. I may not had enought hamburger in it I don't know, My hamburger fell apart. It may take a few times to get it right. It did seem to cook even.
These were purchased for gifts, I have not used mine yet.
I like the circular ridges because you can press spices in there. Edges of burger come out a little raggedy, but can be smoothed out when you remove it from the press. I used spray can oil before putting the meat in. It's easier to get out, but you have to spray every time you put in new meat.
