Nonstick works great, and since it's ceramic, it's the first nonstick that we don't worry about using. My wife also wanted a lighter weight pan, and this fit the bill. Even though it is lighter than our (very expensive) All Clad, it distributes heat beautifully. And, to use a hackneyed phrase that is nevertheless applicable here, "cleanup is a snap."

Loved the pan! The extra deep sides plus the flat bottom makes frying/saute meat great! Bigger surface area. Definitely a great purchase for me. (especially for fried chicken)

A real non-stick pan

This is the pan I've always wanted. One large enough to cook a "one pan" meal in for a family of 4 and that was easy to clean up afterwards. This is it!! Have used it a couple of times so far and it hasn't disappointed me. Waiting to see how durable the non-stick coating will be. So far it has been what the description said it was.
