Craftsmanship has been a tradition at Wusthof for over 190 years. Quality and precision have always been the standard that we measure our knife by and our Gourmet line of stamped German knives take precision to a new level. Each knife in this line is cut from a piece of steel using a laser beam to make a perfect blade. The blade and shape on this 6.5-in. Santoku Knife resemble the Japanese Cook's Knife. It's just right for preparing sushi and sashimi - or anything else you want to slice paper-thin. The hollow indents in the blade allow food to slide right off without sticking. Also works well when dicing onions or other vegetables.

It is a good knife for what it was made for.
Love it for the price
Excellent value for the money. What you would expect of Wusthof quality. A nice, light knife for a variety of purposes. It is well balanced, comfortable to handle, and an excellent addition to any kitchen.
Cutting & chopping is effortless with this knife. Highly recommend.
I bought this knife for my wife. She loves it. I haven't used it yet. I myself love to cook. Would love to have a large version of this knife.
This knife is oustanding, the best I've ever had.
So far so good on this knife, but I have to wonder how it compares to others that are sold for much less either individually or part of a set. It will eventually replace my utility knife as my "go to" knife for all cutting and chopping.
I love this knife. It is everything that it said it would be.
I love this knife! It makes chopping and slicing so much easier! A great value!
I like the thinness of the blade which gives me the ability to make precise cuts. Plus the blade is sturdy enough to withstand some abuse.
This knife is wonderful. I hope to purchase more from the imanufacturer.
I've wanted this knife for a long time and was very pleased to find it for such a great price. To get this Wusthof knife for fully $30 under the price in other stores was quite impressive.
This knife is such a pleasure to use, Iook for things I can cut up with it. The light weight, thin blade and wonderfully sharp edge make it the nicest knife in my kitchen.
I feel like Rachel Ray!!! This knife does it all...I rarely use any other knife now...worth it's weight in gold. I hope it's easy to sharpen.
Love this knife. It is so light and easy to use.
I think the quality of Wustof is excellent. However, The dimples in the knife are supposed to keep the food from sticking to it, from what I hear, and I used it on onion, celery, and other various soup ingredients and found that they still stuck to the knife when slicing. Other than that, it was very sharp and useful.
I love this KNIFE! People said it was great, but this-wow.
Incredibly sharp, lightweight and nimble. The best knife I have ever used.
This has become my favorite knife, I have used it to cut up vegetables and to slice raw chicken breasts. It does a great job, I am very happy with it.
I absolutely love this knife. It's even better that I thought it would be and great for vegetables.
This is a great kinfe, extremly sharp, well balanced and lightweight. The hallow edge makes cutting through sticky foods a breeze. It made me realize that it wasn't my tecnique that sucked when cutting, just my knife. I can cut a whole onion in half the time.

Don't you hate it when you're trying to slice a cooked potato and your knife just smushes it instead? Try using a santoku knife instead. Its blade has specially designed hollow indentations that reduce drag when cutting, so your knife will slice right through. Santokus are also great for cutting soft cheeses, slicing onions, and just about all your everyday chopping tasks.
