Wusthof knife for the cook on a budget
by Logan, MI

I knew two things about Wusthof knives: they're really good and really expensive. That was before I learned of the Gourmet line of knives. For 80 dollars, this is a quality knife. The 10 in size makes it easier to cut thru large fruits and vegetables. This knife will certainly get a lot of work in my kitchen.

Love that ten incher
by Franklin, OR

This knife is a delight to use. I had been a bit leery of a ten inch knife, but having had this one for a while I wonder why I waited so long to get one.

Not up to par
by Sarah, IL

I was very disappointed when I received this 10" Wusthof chef's knife. The handle is not the same material as my other Wusthofs - it is lighter, feels cheap, and the knife isn't balanced correctly.

Item was returned
by Cheryl, NY

The knife was ordered for a class. UPS delivered 5 days late. As the knife did not arrive on time, I was forced into an eleventh hour purchase at Williams Sonoma. As UPS was able to deliver other parcels the following day which would have been in time for the class, there is no reason as to why this particular package was delayed. I suggest you use another carrier.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Here's a trick to remember the next time you're cooking with something leafy like cilantro: to quickly separate the leaves from the stems, hold the stems in one hand and shave the leaves off with a super-sharp chef's knife.
