Good Grips Soft-Handled Can Opener (10.25-in.) by OXO

I've been trying to find a can opener that was easy on the hands and rreally got the can lid off with no sweat, and here it is! What a marvelous instrument! I would recommend this opener to anyone.

Purchased this can opener for my parents whereas they had tried numerous can openers both manual and electric with no satisfaction. This can opener was less expensive than others they had bought, but the quality was so much better. They have no trouble at all opening items now. Both parents cook, and both are extremely pleased with this OXO can opener. We would definetly buy this product again without any question. Love It!

And you can put it in the dishwasher so it comes out clean! I even got one for my sister.

The OXO can opener is definitely worth the money. It is a traditional can opener that works. It's big but lightweight and it's easy to turn the knob. It's much better than the can openers I've bought in grocery stores. The money I've spent over the years on grocery store can openers that don't work or are very hard to turn exceeds the cost of this can opener.

It is so easy to use.The handles are very comfortable. It is very easy to turn and cut! Hopefully this item will always be available!

To me, a manual can opener is essential in the kitchen. I have a small kitchen and hate to take up valuable counter top space with an electric can opener, when a manual one does the job perfectly well. The OXO has a comfortable handle, which I appreciate more and more as I age, and a smooth, sure operation. I have one of these at home and one at work. Don't forget to pop yours into the dishwasher (or the dishpan) after use--cleanliness is part and parcel to good cooking!

I originally had a zyliss can opener. I decided to give this Oxo Can Opener a try, and I'm glad I did. Easy to operate, went around a can very smoothly and quickly. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner.

After getting a new electric can opener that wouldn't easily puncture the can I switched to this hand held opener. Soft handled is correct. It easily pierces the can, turns with ease and doesn't hurt or require effort. I like OXO products but this one is terrific.
