only one size insert included. grates very fine, too small for most purposes. Only works well on very hard foods, which require hard pressure from the hands, which goes against the purpose of Good Grips tools for people with hand problems. Also, does not convert to left handed.

Bought as an ergonomic replacement of the Pampered Chef mocel, and this Oxo model is TERRIBLE in all ways.
This works well and for people who eat alot of parmesan cheese covered foods it stores cheese nicely in the frig.
It works well if you want only a finely grated cheese. For instance, it does a good job with parmesan for pasta, but you can't really use it for anything else. I think the storage idea is nice but because you can't take all the pieces apart, I find it difficult to hand wash.
I keep finding things to put cheese on ...it is so easy to just reach and grap my grater w/ the cheese already stored in it.
This is my second Seal and Store Cheese grater. The design is great and I would buy another one. This is my second because the handle on the original broke off where it attaches to the grater. (This may be because I was getting close to the rind while grating Parmesan.) I bought another because, otherwise, it works well and the seal around the "pusher" really seals. On the new one, the handle did not stay on tightly, but that was easily fixed with a standard "o" ring. I still recommend it because it grates and stores cheese beautifully.

We hate wasting good ingredients- especially pricey ones like Parmesan cheese. When you've grated every last bit, save the Parmesan rinds for the next time you're making soups or stews. Tossing it into the pot while cooking is an easy way to add rich flavor.
