the top unscrews so one can microwave the syrup. cleans easily. a good stocking stuffer for my waffle-maker husband.

Just like all the reviews said this is a very nice syrup dispenser. It is actually nicer looking in person than in the pic. It holds about one small bottle of syrup. I havent experienced any messes either with dripping, etc. If you are looking for a basic syrup dispenser than get it.
