GREAT ALL-AROUND BOWL!
by William, CT

Bought this 2 qt. measuring bowl for my mother as she already had one and was looking for another for her 2nd home and couldn't find one so I decided to get one for myself too. I cannot believe how useful one kitchen item can be! It is great for so microwaving mixtures, pancake mixtures that you use and want to store with the seal-top lid, etc. Just a great sized bowl that comes in handy on a daily basis and certainly not something that usually even makes it's way from the dishwasher into the cupboard before being used again for some useful purpose. I highly suggest this to anyone!

Excellent Mixing Bowl

This bowl works great for making a batch of pancake mix and being able to stick in the fridge covered and just make a few at a time. The size is perfect as well.

A great tool

I have so many bowls, all sizes. You might think I collect them. But I always seem to reach for the glass batter bowl. It is so convenient and easy to use. It comes with a lid so mixes will keep in the refrigerator without spilling or having to grab some plastic wrap (which always gives me problems).

If you only have space for one bowl...
by Linda, ON

I miss having a pantry full of casserole dishes and mixing bowls, but I'm starting fresh and my new kitchen's tiny. I decided that if I was going to allot shelf space to a bowl, it had better earn its keep. This big glass batter bowl is my solution, and it's great so far. It's a big measuring cup, a mixing bowl (that will pour), and I can throw the lid on it for fridge storage. Best of all, I can make my favourite microwave risotto (blessing on you, Barbara Kafka, author of the Microwave Gourmet) again.

This sucker's heavy, which I find comfortable, but I could imagine it being too much for my grandmother, or my buddy Dave with the cast on his wrist.

Love it!

In the three week span that I've had this product, I've used it at least a half a dozen times. The easy pour spout makes it easy to mix and then transfer to another bowl or container. If you're a baker, this is a must have product - even for cook's, this is a great item to make salad dressings or sauces.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

To crack an egg, gently tap against a flat surface, then separate the two halves of the shell. To separate an egg, keep the egg in one of the shell halves after cracking; pass the yolk back and forth between both halves and allow the white to fall into a bowl or measuring cup.
