Garbage Bowl (4-qt.): Red by Rachael Ray

I love this bowl except for one small concern. The rubber(?) gasket on the bottom is good to keep noise free and non-skid but I don't think is is sanitary in everyday usage. Moisture could collect under it and cause germs and mold to accumulate. I removed the gasket and it is the perfect replacement for my melamine 'Texas' bowl that was broken. Love it, love it, love it!

I use as Rachel does. Stays on my counter all day for my cooking trash. Empty and was at dinner. Love it

Bowl was just as described. I love the rubber grip on the bottom so it doesn't slide around the counter. Great product and really fun to use!

I've always wanted one of these. I've used the "garbage bowl" idea for years but never had a specific bowl. I thought they were a little pricey in the stores so when they went on sale, free shipping I jumped at the chance. I took the blue, got a red one for my daughter. Also great for popcorn on movie night!

I thought the bowl was glass or ceramin not plastic

I like my garbage bowl but was disappointed that it was not as large as I had expected. I also think it is over priced.

Use for everything. It is a very all around bowl. To spice up the colors in our kitchen we have bought different colors. Love the non-slip grip on the bottom.We actually have more ordered for gifts. Rachel has come up with some Great cooking accessories.

This bowl is great! I'd call it medium size. Love that it has non-slip grip on the base.

Perfect size to hold prep clean-up, looks great on the counter. I like the non-stick base.

even if you choose not to use this for 'scrapes' you can use it for a multitude of other functions...Popcorn - mixing bowl - etc.

expected more of a blue green like picture my bowl is a dark green

I like the bowl, the best part is the rubber bottom which prevents it from moving around on the table. It is also nice and deep, but not heavy.

The bowl was a better construction than some I've seen in stores. Also I didn't expect the non-slip bottom. Very nice.

This is a nice looking bowl and at first glance you think it would be good for may uses but after reading the care directions it's clear it is a single purpose item.

Only two things wrong with the bowl, the bottom is to narrow. Thus if bowl is full or heavy things are in it, its clumbsy, awkward and so narrow it falls over and spills out making a mess. Way way to expensive for sale price too!!

the color was not true to what I thought it would be but i still like the bowl.

I wanted the Garbage Bowl when it first came out but thought the cost was too high. Then I read some of the reviews and others were saying they thought it was too small for the high cost. I purchased it now because the cost was a little less but mostly because I got free shipping. I would never pay full cost or shipping for this item because, while it is a well made product, it is just over priced for what it is.

It is nice to just put the bowl up on the counter, and dump everything into it. Saves a lot of time going to the trash can with all the garbage.

I was a little disappointed that the color of the purple bowl was much darker than the picture shown on the website. Functionality and design of the bowl are great. I use it as an attractive snack bowl or popcorn bowl and it makes a great prep bowl for cake or brownie mixes when the little ones want to help in the kitchen.
