Garbage Bowl (4-qt.): Red by Rachael Ray

This bowl looks so pretty and sturdy on TV, but in actuality is quite the opposite. I was so excited when I ordered it, but was quite disappointed when I took it out of the box. I woudn't recommend to anyone. Way too expensive for the quality of the merchandise. It's a shame.

I love the color and the concept. However on Easter Sunday mine was knocked off the counter while shifting food around and broke into pieces. I have a wood floor and rarely does anything break even if it hits the floor. But it broke like a fine thin china piece. I have other melamine bowls that are much thicker so I will just use one of those.

Very thin, light, and kind of cheaply made material, not as heavy as was made out to be. Definitely not worth the price paid.

This product is a thin wall unit. In fact the first one came to me cracked and the box was in mint condition. Not like the Texas ware that was an old time favorite. Would have spent a few more dollars to make this a more heavy duty product.

I thought it was a little overpriced for a plastic bowl.

When I ordered this bowl, I thought it was the size I have seen on the cooking show by Rachel Ray - which is why I ordered it. It is quite a bit smaller, necessitating emptying it a great many more times while preparing the meal - otherwise it overflows onto the counter.

The thinness of the bowl surprised me. It was not sturdy. I have older bowls made along the same lines as this but they have never crack if they were dropped on the cabinet a bare 3-4 inches. I did really like the color. My others are old school browns and gold-brown It was nice. Wish it had lasted longer.

The first bowl I ordered came to me broken into pieces, but a new one was shipped out immediately, great customer service. It is nice that it has the non-skid bottom, but I think you could use any old bowl for a garbage bowl, even get one from the dollar store, it does only hold garbage so you don't have to run back and forth to the garbage can. It is a great idea.

I had always wanted to purchase this item and was glad that it came back on the internet to buy. it is large and we use it for our compost items and it is colorful to look at in the sink.

Nice bowl usefulll but not worth the cost. should be 4.99... it is garbage....

I love this dump bowl. It is exactly as described, color bright and vibrant, a litte bigger than I expected. I have watched Rachel use a dump bowl for a long tie and knew it worked well for her. I'm glad I finally am able to own my own!

Everyone should have at least one of these!!

cracks to easy

I never thought a bowl could make all the difference for clean-up but it does. The original shipment was cracked. FoodNetwork sent a new one without me needing to return the original due to damage. That's customer service. I look forward to using it again and again.

Love to have a bowl to put garbage in when cleaning veggies and fruit!! Great! So Handy!

I ordered 2 bowls and one came broke in half. i called and had excellent service and was very prompt at getting me a new one sent out. thank you so much. i love the products especially the pans. i could do a commercial they are so great.

NIce color and size, liked the rubber ring on bottom - but do feel it is very overpriced for what it is, if I looked more I could find a similar bowl that meets the same standards.

I am a big Rachell Ray fan of her products and have order numerous things BUT the gabage bowl was the biggest disappointment--it is so small and the price is to high for this bowl---I have seen it numerous times on Rachell Ray show and it does not look that small---I am very disappointed in it

My only complaint was that the shipping cost was nearly 45% of the cost of the item ($20 for the item, $9 for the shipping). I would have purchased additional products, and would have done so sooner, if the shipping wasn't so expensive.
