This block was pretty easy to assemble and the directions straight forward. It is solid and sturdy as well as attractive. What we thought was a real plus is that unlike some blocks the top isn't several inches thick, making them top heavy and a waste of material. This block has just the right amount of weight and thickness AND far more reasonably priced!
