A great and fun read

What a wonderful summary of the various seasons of Food Network Star. It was refreshing to see the photos and read updates of some of my favorite chefs. The quotes and tidbits from the the network's stars are fun to read and I will always remember Rachel Ray's advice to always keep smiling. Definitely a good purchase for anyone interested in the Food Network and the Food Network Star program. An excellent introduction by Bobby Flay highlights the book which includes an excellent index as well.

It was very exciting to see the past seasons contestants. You can easily forget who participated. I am a recipe junkie so I am enjoying the recipes. It is a high quality book and very fun to look through.

Condition is a problem

I had ordered this book as a gift, but because it has a soft cover and was shipped in soft packaging, it arrived with the edges damaged, so I no longer feel comfortable giving it to a friend. I'm sure I will enjoy it myself, but I would very much have liked a clean, undamaged copy. I will probably not order another gift book from Food Network in the future.

i enjoyed the book very much it would have been good to have waited to publish another few weeks and had this season's winner featured also. the photos are wonderful, the interviews even better, of contestants, judges, and guests.
