overpriced but invaluable
by Helen, MA

We live on Cape Cod and eat fish at least twice a week. After literally decades of pulling out bones with my fingers or cutting away good parts of the fish to get rid of them, this is the specialist tool I have been dreaming of. Well made, good grip, seizes the bone -- altogether a world away from bathroom tweezers. It does seem overpriced and I felt I was paying for the Global brand name. Still, I expect to have it forever .

Eliminate pesky fish bones from fillets
by Carol, NY

<br>I knew this product existed, but had never seen it. When I bought salmon fillets they still had lots of bones. I did a web search and found this product. It works beautifully! Pulls the bones right out of the raw fish, without causing any damage to the fillet. Highly recommend it.

Fish-Bone Tweezers
by Stan, ND

Excellent quality for the price, large and sturdily constructed, allowing for a good grip for your hand and for the bone you are extracting. you just can't use a pharmaceutical tweezers to extract fish bones. Excellent product.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

The old saying about how you should only eat oysters in months ending with an "R" is still partially true. September- December are when the oysters are caught and are therefore at their freshest, but advances in storage means they can still be safely eaten in other months.
