Charming, gorgeous, and extremely talented, Giada De Laurentiis is the star of Food Network's Everyday Italian. She has also been seen in the network's All-Star Thanksgiving special with Emeril Lagasse, Rachael Ray, and others; cohosting (with Mario Batali) the Italian Christmas special and a cross-country series; and starring in her own special from Italy.
The reason for all the excitement? Beyond Giada's camera presence, it's her food; quick, simple, and bursting with the ripe, rich flavors that reflect the best of Italian home cooking. Giada is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef who's worked in some of L.A.'s finest restaurants, but she's also not afraid to use shortcuts and the occasional packaged ingredient. She makes it all look easy because it is, with such features as seven ways to transform red sauce, five variations on cutlets, four great uses for prosciutto, and more than 100 other dishes for speedy but special dinners. Filled with gorgeous photographs, this is the debut cookbook from a major new star.
very good recipes - definitely will try some
Like her books
Everyday Italian is a wonderful book. Its the old world meeting the new world. Well written and very enjoyable.
Her recipes are always a hit with our family. Love her show too.
Hi, We really enjoy Giada show, Everday Italian on the cooking channel. We love the book. Thank you.
easy to follow recipes for everyday.
I love the recipes and Giada, but would love to see pictures of ALL the dishes.
I was really disappointed. Guess I was hoping for more pasta or entre recipes.
Havent tried anything yet but recipes look very good. It was a gift for my daughter and she was happy to get it!
THE BOOK WAS A GOOD PRICE! IT WAS EASY TO READ THE DIRECTIONS! BUT THE SHIPPING WAS TOO EXPENSIVE. I WILL BUY THIS BOOK ELSEHERE IF I FIND A BOOK WITH THE SAME PRICE. SORRY!
Was a little disappointed with the book as it contained more pics of Giada than recipes. I really like Giada's segments on Food Network but expected more recipes. I will keep the book but will inquire more next time of the reviews before buying. I. Brewer Hesperia, CA
My husband and I tried this cookbook from the library and used it to make dinner for three weeks. Everything we made was delicious (although we left out a lot of the oil she recommends!) and we decieded to buy a copy not just for ourselves but for Holiday presents as well. Giada's marinara sauce is our new favorite!
I am very pleased with the books I ordered lately. I am equally pleased with the attention I received from you. Thank you
From the basics to the more involved recipes Everyday Italian features it all, but in an easy to follow way. I am looking forward to attempting each recipes from the first page to the last !
The only thing I'd like to see changed about Giada's cookbooks is the absence of pictures for every entree. If I go to the FoodNetwork website for Giada's recepies, I can get a picture to go along with each recipe I print and this does probe to be helpful.
This is a very easy to use book. I have about 15 recipes that I regularly use. They are all very simply written and the techniques are easy to follow. We especially love the Panzanella Salad and the pasta sauces. The Cornmeal Cake is great too. I use this cookbook more than any other in my collection!
This book is great. The recipes are simple and delicious.
Wonderful real recipies and visuals, just like a visit with Giada...you can almost taste the samples. Yum!!!
So far I have found this cookbook to be an encouraing and inviting cookbook to use. I feel as though I too can make these recipes. I really like how Giada keeps it simple and how she gives you ideas on what to keep in your pantry for every day use. The book is colorful; it reminds me of words she would use like crisp, fresh, simple and delicious. I can't wait to dive in!

Recipes that call for wine do so to enhance the flavor of the dish- so it's not the time to use that half-opened bottle of red that's been sitting in your fridge for a month. If you wouldn't drink it, then don't cook with it.
