Eversharp Pro Steak Knife Set (4-pc.) by J. A. Henckels International

I sent these to my daughter's fiance, on her suggestion for a Christmas gift. He loves them, and has thanked me several times. He thinks they're great.

A good product for the price. It slices tomatoes like butter, and meat is a breeze.

One of the best prices on sturdy daily use steak knives. Good weight. Price is right.

Overall I was very pleased with this product. The knives arrived very promptly. They cut beatifully, and I love the micro-serrated edge which is perfect for cleanly slicing everything from a tough chunk of steak to a delicate tomato. I gave it four stars for two reasons though: First, they can't be put in the dishwasher so I feel like we're CONSTANTLY washing them. Also, I bought them on sale for $25, so while they're an AMAZING value at this price, at $50 they're probably about an average value.

Everything a steak knife set should be. They look good and they cut well.

When I saw the Name Henckel o n these knives, I knew I was getting a quality product. My broher,(a professional chef), uses Henckel's knives in his restaurant. At nearly half off the suggested retail, I was NOT going to pass them up. The knives arrived only four days after ordering them. They have a full tang, which gives them a firm, solid feel in the hand. The composite handles have a smoothly textured feel for a firm, nonslip grip. Hefty, but not heavy, they cut effortlessly, and give a feeling of quality workmanship and durability. There is no way you can go wrong on this purchase. Henckel knives are well balanced, and give you an added feeling of quality as you enjoy your meal.

I was a little disappointed that a great knife company as Henckels would allow China to make them.

the serration helps. they feel good in my hand. they cut easily even though it might take several passes.

They work fine, but feel cheap.

Not exactly what I thought it would be. Thought they would be smaller and not so big. I had ordered before and they were smaller in size.

These steak knives need to be sharper because they don't cut as well as I thought it should.
