We recently grilled a 12 pound turkey, and these worked just fine to turn the bird over, very happy with the product.
They are somewhat heavy, but they can also be used as skewers when roasting vegetables and small pieces of meat--an unexpected plus.
I don't know how I ever got along without these lifters. It makes picking up any size bird easy. But, I have to say it's not just for the birds. It works great for picking up roasts or any kind of meat you are cooking. It is simply great! Angie NNK, VA
I'm glad that these forks are all stainless steel. I've used them only once, but they seem fairly well made. If they hold up well under a 25-lb. turkey, I'll be happy. The handles are hollow. I'd prefer solid stainless steel handles and heavier welds on the tines. --Paul
Very strong lifters. Good for women with little arm strength.

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are a convenient and healthy source of protein- but they often lack flavor, and their leanness makes them unsuitable for long cooking times. For extra flavor (and lower cost), look for bone-in chicken breasts or chicken thighs. If you're concerned about fat, just remove the skin before eating.
