Endurance Asparagus Steamer (9-in.) by RSVP International

I love this product! I thought it was ridiculous for me to order this item since I cook for a living but thought it would be a nice birthday present to myself. I really like this steamer - alot!

Theoretically the basket should hold asparagus upright. My first usage was with small stalks, which protruded through the lower gap in the sides. I didn't have enough quantity to fill the basket, so they angled out the sides. Knowing this situation, I believe I can compensate for the next usage.

I love asparagus and so does my mom!! She loves the steamer! Very easy to use!

Gives a much better finished steamed asparagus product that the plastic microwave one we've been using.

Have wanted an aspaaragus steamer for a long time. This one is perfect.

The product itself is great, I just thought it would be taller. I must have missed the part about 9 inches.

I am very pleased with my asparagus steamer. I appreciated the note to not add salt until the water came to a boil to avoid pitting. You have to be careful removing the item/basket to avoid a steam burn, but that applies to all cooking pots. You can steam other veggies in this pot and it makes a great soup pot. In fact, I purchased this item because my sister had a pot similar in size to make homemade soup for her and her husband. Perfect size. This pot will get used a lot in my house.

You really have to trim your asparagus to make it fit in this pot. It's okay but i am disappointed that once again I have to use something made in China.

It is terrific! Asparagus cooks faster because the size of the pot is smaller, and you don't end up cutting them too short to fit in a sauce pan. It also works well to fastly cook potatoes and broccoli. I can't wait to explore what other options I can use it for. The lift out drain strainer works great. I wish I would have bought this item a long time ago!

The steamer was delivered a few days after it was ordered and I used it that night. Asparagus was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend

Got this for my wife as a surprise, she loves to cook asparagus, carrots, broccoli I, etc, the veggies come out better than anything she has ever tried. Definitely buying some for gifts, so other people can experience how good the veggies cook,and how quick and no lean up virtually making it a great product /gift for even the basic chef all the way up to the gourmet perfectionist! The photo of the product shows the top being so shiney I leaped to the wrong conclusion it was glass, rather it is stainless metal. More significant to me is that the inner basket started to rust at its weld joints after only one use.

the basket starts to rust if you put it in the dishawasher.

This is a great little veggie steamer, but I wish the holes in the mesh basket were a bit thinner so that I could steam other small veggies, like smaller pieces of broccoli.

Just what we needed for the two people in our house, We get an unlimited supply every spring, it's great!!!

I gave this to my son and daughter-in-law as they mentioned they were tired of grilling Asparagus. I already own one of the Steamers and loved it for Asparagus.
The next time I visited them, which was only a week later, they had already used in on Asparagus, Summer Squash and Cauliflower.
The said it didn't work very well on Broccoli but were excited about trying it on other veggies.
They were very happy with the gift being veggie lovers! The fact is though, neither one of us expected it to be so versatile. We got more than we expected! Thank you!
