I bought this cookbook for my 10 yr. old granddaughter for her birthday who really likes to garden & cook and is always watching cooking shows on TV. I looked thru it & it had good recipes, although the one's involving yeast may be a little difficult at this age, but she will be able to use this book for many years.

This is a gift for a 12 year old. After reviewing it, I found it appropriate for her age. Since this is a gift, some of your questions don't apply because I am answering for myself.
