    THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN'T SEE THE MODEL NUMBER ARE THE SERIAL NUMBER SO THAT I CAN REG. IT. I CONTACTED BY E-MAIL CALPHALON AND WASN'T GIVEN ANY INFO WHERE TO FIND IT , BUT WAS TOLD IF YOU ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL . HECK I COULD HAVE DONE THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE . GREAT PRODUCT !     Overall I'm very pleased with this toaster. It's very attractive, functional and simple to use. I especially like the bagel feature that toasts only the cut sides. I've used the defrost button only once on a frozen toaster strudel and it seemed to work very well. The only negative, as others have mentioned, concerns the dials that control degree of toasting. I burned several things before learning to set the dial less than half way. Any higher than that resulted in blackened bread. Other than that easy fix it works very well. I was also very pleased with the order process. I received the toaster sooner than promised and the shipping rates were very reasonable.
