Electric Fondue Set (3-qt.) by Cuisinart

We really liked the product but after a little while using it, it started to splash hot oil and we had to be really carefull. I would recommend the product to others.

Looks Good, Works Good. The only drawback is the the metal forks can scratch the non stick surface, so you mus be careful not to push the fork all the way through the meat or bread or whatever. Maybe the manufacturer can come up with a plastic fork that won't melt and won't scratch.

You will need an extra cord. It is great but it would be better if it had a thermometer to know the temperature. Easy to clean! A bit to wide, I have seen other electrical ones that are a bit deeper. Great product!

This product has excelent fit and finish. The component parts fit together precisely. The temperature controle maintains temperature as heat is drawn from the fondue. The real value after the sale in this product is the three quart - wide mouth pot that can double as a chaffing dish on the buffet.

I love this pot! You don't have to fool with the oil and the burner and it has temp settings--which is sooo handy for a beginner like me.

Received this as a Christmas gift. I have only used it once so far for a cheese fondue and it was wonderful. It heated up quickly and the cheese stayed perfect the whole time. Easy cleanup thanks to the nonstick surface. Love this fondue set.

Had a fondue many years ago, the old style. This set is very classy and the best part is it is electric. Just a fun thing to do on family night or when friends are over. Good value.

I love this electric fondue pot! I have used it several times and found it easy to control the heat and easy to clean. I was thrilled to learn I cold put the pot in the dishwasher if I wished. It's big and attractive and I have no complaints!

Cuisinart is a trusted name and the price was great. I wasn't sure about the electric but it has a safety feature that is a magnet so if the pot should get moved, the cord should disconnect from the pot. I made my first cheese fondue and it sat for hours on the warmer till everyone actually got here and it was delicious. We didn't eat all of it so I stored it in another container and reheated it with some wine a few days later and it was just as good. Going out to a fondue restaurant is very expensive and not everyone likes to cook their dinner. But the fondue pot is fun for the cheese fondue and for the dessert ones.

This is a Christmas gift, so it has not yet been used.
I did compare several Fondue Sets, and like this one because it is electric rather than using sterno cans. I think the heat can be better regulated so that things other than just chocolate can be used.
My only concern is that someone may get arm caught in cord and have a spill.

If you haven't served fondue since the sterno-can days it is time to try it again. The recipes are easier and healthier - and you can't beat the convenience of electric. I plan to buy another set so I can serve a savory and a sweet fondue at the same time. Love this pot - get one!

This product looks very attrractive is substancial in weight and is easy to use.

I was so disappointed to see the same item (2 days later) on another website for $10 less.

Haven't used it yet but I am looking forward to doing so on New Years Eve. It sure is a high quality product.

I purchased this fondue set to replace an older model that used the sterno heat source. This is so much better and you can control the heat very easily with the control knob on the plug. I would suggest this to anyone who enjoys all types of fondue.

This pot is not only nice to look at, but it performs very well. Love the variable temp control and the totally immersible vessel!

My boyfriend and I purchased this fondue set after going out to expensive restaurants for fondue a couple of times. We figured we could just as easily stay in with a bottle of our favorite wine and do it ourselves. This product did not let us down! We've cooked cheese fondues, meat in broth fondues, and dessert fondues and they've all been wonderful! This product heats up fast, comes with delightfully simple instructions and is super easy to clean (cleaning it between courses was no big deal.) We love it and recommend it to all of our friends.

The fondue pots were exactly what I wanted, and I was able to purchase two because the price had been reduced. They were here within the week, which was helpful, since our gathering was a few days later. Thank you.

Don't have to mess with fuel, it is always on and at the right temperature. Very easy to clean, most of the parts can be put in the dishwasher.

Works great, temperature selection makes it useful for very low temp melt items, but can get hot enough for oil frying.
