I find that the brewing time is fine, but the metal taste from the percolator leaves much to be desired. I prefer the Farberware percolator, because there is no after taste.
percolator is fast, quiet, looks good. Only thing that I don't like is the coffee grinds escape the coffee basket. Can't finish last cup, full of grinds.
The past 2 years, we have gone through at least 4 coffee pots - most were
Superior coffee product from my older Mr. Coffee, and my former Sunbeam programmable. No leaks, no overflows, and very, very easy to clean. Love this!
I really have enjoyed this pot. We are big coffee drinkers and it took less than a week to season the pot. It makes some great coffee and stays hot!

Coffee trees naturally thrive in shady forests, but a lot of coffee these days comes from trees that were modified to grow in the sun, meaning that indigenous forests have been clear-cut to make way for large-production coffee farms.
