Easy Pop Hot Air Popcorn Maker (10-c.): Red by Cuisinart

I really love this popper! I use air popped corn to make my homemade caramel corn and I am always on the lookout for high quality products! I love that this machine has an on/off button (a feature that most air poppers do not have) and that the butter cup has a notch to hold it in place. It works well and does exactly what it should with no problems.

Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this product. As mentioned in one of the cooking.com reviews of the product, when making anywhere from 1//4 to 1/2 cup of (un-popped) kernels, a few (really very few) un-popped kernels are delivered into the collection bowl. I found that I could not prepare less than 1/4 cup (un-popped) kernels or most of the kernels would blow through un-popped. I do not consider this a drawback inasmuch as the 1/4 cup serving in enough to satisfy me without being too much; especially since the finished popcorn is, in fact, the best tasting popcorn I have ever had. I recommend this product highly.

After growing frustration with microwave popcorn (too many unpopped kernals; and it often overheats my microwave), I decided to give this product a shot.<br><br>Wow! I am impressed. In less time that it takes to microwave a bag of popcorn, this unit generates a huge bowl of awesome popcorn. And heated air only. No oil or anything else.<br><br>It is a compact unit (you pop directly into a bowl of your choice; so the unit itself is small). And there is a little tray (that you can use to measure the popcorn kernels) that you can use to melt butter which is very convenient.<br><br>When you are done, the two parts that need to be washed can go in the dishwasher.<br><br>I am very pleased with my purchase.<br><br>

Makes great popcorn quick and easy. Like the fact that you just add the popcorn and turn it on. That's it! I would have given it a 5 but it does blow out some kernals before they are popped.
