The blending process is a very subtle art form that relies on subjective measurement of taste, color and aroma. Tazo constantly taste and determine which teas will go in which blend in what percentage, so flavor profiles remain consistent and of the highest quality possible.
The name Tazo has roots in many civilizations. Tazo actually means "river of life" in the Romany Gypsy language and was used as a toast to life by ancient Greeks. Tazo also means "fresh" in several Hindi dialects. In ancient Babylonia, Tazo was a rejuvenating elixir thought to have magical properties.

Very good flavor packages are sealed well to ensure full flavor. Very pleased w/purchase.
I am an old tea drinker and I fancy Earl Grey tea. After years of Twinnings and other assorted teas, I just grew fond of Tazo's Earl Grey. Your tastes may vary from mine but if you prefer strong dark tea without an overbearing amount of oil of bergamot then this is the tea for you. Give it a try. I like the tea bags and the loose leaf although the latter tends to be far less expensive by the cup.
Love it! Wish the makers would leave a great product alone and stop reinventing the wheel. This is the last of the Tazo teas that will come wrapped individually. So buy it while you can.
