You don't have to be making Asian food to get the most out of this Dumpling Plus press. Made from sturdy plastics, it's designed for appetizers, hors d'ouevres and dumplings of many nationalities. Use it for potstickers, ravioli, empanadas, piroshki, kreplachs and pasties. Two handles are positioned on either side and the hinged center allows you to place dough or wrapper in middle, fill and then fold press in half. It securely seals your creation, leaving crimped edges. Package comes with Joyce Chen's recipe for Famous Peking Raviolis.

This is a great product. It's very easy to use -- my four-year-old loves to "crimp" the Chinese dumplings it makes -- and it produces a great product.<br><br>My only issue has to do with your VERY slow shipping. I order a ton of stuff over the internet. I've ordered from you three times and every time, it's been ungodly slow. I called your customer service this last time and got no help at all. I won't be ordering from you again.

Not nearly as versatile as using a lid of some sort. Dumplings look too industrial. Maybe helpful for people who haven't made dumplings before but after that, no.
