This book is exactly what I expected. The delivery of the item was more than I expected. The recipes are simple and delicious. I make the rub and it enhanced the flavor in our foods. I made an excellent choice in selecting this cookbook.

Nice history background and easy to read with great recipes to follow.

The only bad thing I can say is that I was looking for a specific recipe that was used on the show, which I could not find on the FN website and it was not in the cookbook either. But there are other great recipes and family stories in there.

IF YOU LOVE TO READ AND LOVE TO COOK YOU WILL ENJOY THIS COOKBOOK. IT READS LIKE A BIOGRAPHY OF THE LIFE AND TIMES OF GINA AND PAT NEELY. THE ANTIDOTAL STORIES ABOUT FAMILY LIFE AND HOW RECIPES CAME TO BE ARE GREAT. AND THE FOOD IS SIMPLE AND DELICIOUS.

the neelys are so much fun to watch, and are good teachers of how to cook the dishes. they make cooking fun. loved the family pic's in the book also.food net is a great channel to help us learn how to cook better, and more desireable foods.their book is as easy as their show. you've got to try it.!!!

My mother watches the Neely's faithfully and wanted to get their cookbook but could not afford to get, so for Christmas I decided to get the cookbook for her and she just love's it.

Got the book for my wife as a Christmas gift, who loves to watch the show with me and she wanted to try and cook some of their recipes for me and the kids. Thank you Neelys for inspiring my wife to cook such flavorful foods.

I like the Neelys and have watched their show. Because of the recipes I've seen them prepare on TV, I decided to buy their book. I don’t usually buy cook books on line, but thought it’s from the Food Network how could I go wrong. Well, I was extremely disappointed to find that there are very few pictures of the recipes but a huge amount of pictures of them and their family. I thought this was a cookbook not an auto-biography. People like to see what the food will look like when it’s done. Or at least I do.

I thought this was an excellent recipe book. It was easy to follow and many items I was able to get in grocery store. I didnt have to find a special store ( Kosher or Organic).

I watched one of the Neelys cooking shows and tried the recipe and loved it. Was so excited that I wanted the cookbook. I have looked at it and not only is it gonna be a good recipe book but also a great read. Can't wait to get started on the recipes.

I read the book from cover to cover the day it arrived in the mail. It was inspiring tor read the story of how this couple came into being and how the family pulled together in starting and maintaining this business. My hat goes off to the entire family for their service and dedication to the public and willingness to share such fine recipes with others. I have no doubt the recipes will produce good down-home meals for myself, my family and church community.

Enjoyed reading abt the Neely family. Loved the book, spent my evening reading THE BOOK. Even bought the book for someone who is just starting to cook again. She loved it too.

Great recipes to try out on my husband. Perhaps cook more often since I am retired now!

Book is very pleasing not only to the eye but in great tasting recipes too!

I can hear Pat's giggle as I read each recipe.

I bought this for my husband as he loves watching the Neely's. Their cooking style is easy and homestyle. He likes that.

Have not tried any recipes but love there show!

Looking forward to using this new cookbook, also bought one for my daughter, who is a great cook!
