Double Prong Coastal Skewers (Set of 4) by Charcoal Companion

I like the skewers. They are heavy and you can put lots onto them without them bending, or twerling on the skewer. You can do larger pieces as well, which also makes it simpler to turn on all four sides if squared off. If the pieces are too small the tops may get a bit in the way, so just make the pieces a bit larger than bite size and yo will be fine.

I love the double prongs to keep foods, such as shrimp & veggies, from rotating on the scewer when turning them over on the grill. The flat handles are perfect for grabbing with tongs and they look great for serving :)

cute little metal ends turn very dark and scaley looking when heated-not sure how long they will last. I don't think that they are made to take any direct heat--so how could you use them?

I purchased these as a stocking stuffer for someone with a beach house, and since it is October, they have not yet been given; however, they are nice looking and seem of good quality.......while still in the packaging.

These skewers are great. They are durable and the designs on the end are adorable.

The skewers were purchased due to the appearance and the double skewres that won't allow the food to turn on the skewer making the job of cooking so much easier. They were as advertised and we are very pleased with the purchase.<br>Thanks

When I saw these I knew I had to get them. What a great idea with the double prong. It makes it so much easier to skewer the bacon wrapped shrimp for the grill. Love the beach theme too. The length of the skewers is awesome and more then enough for one person. I wanted to see what they looked like in person before I ordered another set which I plan on doing.

I love that they r flat n I can have a more secure kabob loaded with all meats n seafood

We do a lot of grilling in the spring, summer and fall...sometimes in the dead of winter as well. I had never seen double prong skewers like these and immediately knew I had to order several sets. Single skewers allow what you are grilling to break off or turn around...the double prong skewers hold the item perfectly in place. The "Coastal" theme is perfect as the beach is our favorate vacation venue. Thank you Paula Deen!

While these skewers are attractive, they do not hold up well during grilling. On the first use, while removing the food from the skewers, the prongs came loose from each head except the crab. The fish and the lobster head melted and bent, breaking in half. The skewers were on the grill for 5-6 minutes total.

Very hard to skewer food on this double prong system. Maybe with practice I will get better. Love the concept.
