A great tool for thin slicing; easy to store and clean. While it is not as versitile as a full size mandoline, it does the slicing without the clumbersome cleaning and storage requirements of the full size mandoline.

excellent value ..although you cannot adjust slice width like a mandolin, this is a very quick and easy way to slice ultra thin cabbage for salads, cukes, etc. clean up is really quick & easy - just rinse.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Make your own potato chips with a slicer. You'll need one of these in order to get the potatoes thin enough. Once you have them cut, fry in peanut oil for an addictive delicious snack.
