Digital Toaster (4-slice) by T-Fal

Got this at a great price for our work kitchen, it is excellent!

Toaster was rated as top by Consumer Reports magazine for 4-slice toasters. I find that it toasts darker on one side of the bread and needs to be set on a higher number (5) for English Muffins than for wheat bread(2). I'm still not used to what setting to use, even though we've had the toaster for several weeks. I probably would not buy another T-Fal toaster

I previously owned a Krups long-slot toaster which WAS a long-slot. I could toast 4 sliced of homemade bread, which is wider than most commercial breads. In this toaster, I can't. <br><br>This toaster works well, for what it is. However, it isn't what I wanted and needed, and I would like to see some level of standardization of the term "long-slot".

I think this is the perfect toaster! I cannot find any faults with it!

This is a great little toaster. It toasts evenly, is attractive, but the most surprising feature is the alarm that gives off when your toast pops up! No longer do I have cold toast because I walked away and forgot! Toasts bagels well too.<br><br>Only drawback is that it is not as wide as my last toaster, so large slices, i.e. 1 inch or more won't fit.<br>Great toaster for the price, though!.
