We gave this knife sharpener as a gift. We have used ours for many, many years and it always makes dull knives so sharp they can be dangerous.

I have never used an electric knife sharpener before so have nothing to compare with but this product was easy to use. It does a good job sharpening knives very sharp. It is actually smaller than it looks in the product description so I was pleased it doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter.
