I got this to replace a similar product I had purchased from another company. The other company had sold their decorator to me specifically to fill small donuts with jelly - and it leaked! This one works great.
This is a good product - super easy to use and gives great results. It works best for piping borders on cakes and decorating cupcakes. It is great for someone who has never decorated cakes before and wants professional-looking results without a lot of mess or fuss. The trigger is easy to squeeze and so it applies even pressure giving you a nice, smooth flow of icing, and it comes with six tips that make lots of pretty effects.

However, I bought this thinking I could do everything I wanted to do and avoid buying decorating bags because decorator bags intimidate me, but I was wrong. This is awesome for the big stuff, but if you get into using lots of different colors, you're having to clean it a lot when you switch colors. Also, it's hard to use for making flowers where you're turning a flower nail (or cupcake) in one hand and holding the decorator in the other. It's very difficult to use the decorator one-handed; I have to use two hands.

I'll keep it and use it for certain parts of my decorating endeavors, but when it comes to the details decorator bags are the way to go.
I love it. It is easy & much better then the bags for a beginner. I just started decorating cakes & enjoyed it. I can do wonderful designs with it even change the tip without having to empty as long as you using the same color use different tips. I made a spider cake and everyone at the party loved it. I would recommend this to everyone. The only thing is if you changing colors you have to clean it really good to switch. But I solve the problem I bought 4 of them.
I bought this for my mother as a Christmas gift. She had wanted one for a long time and was thrilled to receive it.
I use this for stuffing eggs, olives, and mushrooms. Makes things easy and pretty as well.

If you've ever tried frosting a cake with a regular dinner knife or rubber spatula, you'll understand how frustrating it is when you don't have the proper tools. If you're serious about baking homemade cakes, invest in an offset spatula to help you navigate the faces, corners, and layers of the cake like a pro, taking away the difficult straight angle of a regular spatula.
