Dessert Bar Pan by Chicago Metallic

I liked the pan for granola bars...it worked pretty good but, did have a little sticking problem. Next time I'll spray it or oil it for a better turn-out.

Brownies came out delicious. You need to bake as though it is an 8 X 8 pan for the timing. When they are completly cooled just push on the bottom. No more crumby mess when cutting them!

The rigid frame of this dessert bar pan works great. My brownies cooked nicely and released well. I put a recipe in this pan that would otherwise have gone into a 9x13 pan and they puffed up a lot and ran together a bit; still, release was very easy.

This pan works great. Nice for brownies and cakes. Will try breads and corn breads next. Easy to clean by hand or just place in dishwasher. (I put mine in the top rack) I did not need cooking spray. Really like the metal insert inside the rim. Makes the pan very easy to carry. My family really likes the pan as well!

We normally make our cookies the traditional way(round). This was a delightful change, and very easy to use.

I love this pan because it holds it shape and it is easy to clean.

Works well, still a little wobbly even with the metal in place on the inside.

I ordered this pan, as I am making up my own reciepies for health bars, as I am soy-free, and all the bars on the market have soy in them. I thought this pan would make the bars more like a cookie, so can't wait to have time to use it. My seasonial job, spinning yarn at a Museum, is over on Oct 16, so, I will make them in Nov. I've been collecing all kitchen things orange so this was another piece to collect. One worry was that the pan is very thin. I've been afraid to put it into the oven because the material is so thin it would seem to melt in the oven. Would not be fun cleaning it up.

This product is easy to fill and does a good job of baking the bars. The only drawback I found was that it was a little difficult to clean
