Deep Fryer with Filtration System by Emeril from T-Fal

I love it. Everything cooks fast and good. My husband does a lot of fishing, and we use it for fish, fries, hushpuppies. I really need another one. You can't go wrong with this.

I had to return the fryer because after the 2nd frying, it LEAKED all down my counter and floor. My dog began to lick up HOT OIL!!! I thank GOD she was caught and not seriously hurt! Thank you for sending me a new one, but, at $37.00 for UPS shipping cost. The new one worked fine the 1st time but LEAKED AGAIN! I read the instructions thouroughly ( I can't stress this enough, the oil does make a serious mess!). I contacted T-Fal on a Friday and they said they would get back to me that day, Monday at the latest! I had to call them Tuesday and they said I had to push in the drain box til it clicks. I pushed really hard and never heard a click. THANKS FOR NOTHING, EMERIAL!! I am telling everybody that I bought a $200.00 fryer ($165 fryer, $37 return shipping) that LEAKS HOT OIL! I can't trust the fryer and I can't afford to return it a 2nd time. I feel duped. I used to trust Emerial and T-Fal and Foodnetwork shopping. Now, I do not. I trust my old, cast iron dutch oven and thermomitor. By the way, T-Fal told me this has happened to other customers who bought the fryer, it was not unusual for this fryer to leak. Thanks for the warning.

The only thing this deep fryer does not do is serve up afterwards! Love the filtering of oil.

i have owned and tried many deep fryers - but the biggest draw back
is filtering the oil. with this fryer it is all automatic. i really didn't
believe it would work but it is fantastic. three hours after using all
you have to do is move the switch to auto filtering and it is done - it
filters the oil completely - no sediment what so ever. all you have to
do is wipe the heating element clean and wash the fryer basket
and oil bin. there is no build up of cooked on oil on either. is have
been recommending this unit to all my friends who like to deep fry.

It's a little on the flimsy side since the metal is not very heavy, so I am worried about the longevity of it, but overall, if you're in the market for a fryer, this should be a top contender. Pros: Capacity, filtration system Cons: Breakaway cord (too easily breaks away) and flimsy construction.

I was absolutely amazed at how quick this fryer heated up and how quickly food was ready. My old fryer took about 20 minutes to heat up and another 20 minutes just to cook french fries. This heated up in about 5 minutes and only took about another 7 minutes to make home-made broasted potatoes! I was on cookling cloud 9!

It worked great the first time and everytime sence. I love the filter system.

This is the very best fryer for your home. You can filter the grease with out chemicals and best of all the fryer filters itself once the temperature is correct. If you're buying for your home this is the only fryer! Filtering the grease saves the life of the grease and decreases odors.

This is one of the best deep fryers I have ever used. It is amazing. The filtration system is wonderful. You will be able to store and use the oil again and again. One of the easiest things about this fryer is cleaning it.

I really do love the deep fryer. It is so very easy to use and clean-up is a breeze. I also like that I can use the plastic container to store the oil until the next time I want to fry something. The directions were easy to understand and that also made using the fryer easier. I would recommend it to anyone weather they do a lot or a little deep frying.

This is a great item. Deep frying can be a bit intimidating - not just in regards to the accuracy of cooking temperature and time, but also safety and cleanup. This product makes everything easy, safe, neat, and allows you to just enjoy the cooking the food! Accessible for beginners, advanced enough for experts.

The unit frys fine, but the oil drain system has some kind of thermal switch so it wont let you drain the oil when its hot. We didn't know about this feature and switched it to drain and couldnt figure out why it wouldnt drain. After an hour of cooling the unit decided to dump all of its oil on the floor. This switch can be easily and accidently switched without your knowledge and the same oil spill will occur.

EVERYTHING WORKS OK. NEED A PARTS TO HAVE SOME SPARES ON HAND

After reading all the other reviews, I was skeptical. However, I have used the fryer at least 5 times since my purchase with no leakage problems.

I am 65 years of age and I can tell you me and my familey have gone through many deep fryers. The Emerilware from T-Fal is the best we have ever used, it does all it clams

This is exactly what I wanted. I love that you can filter the oil and stick it in the chill. Everything can go in the dishwasher except the power unit, which is a great thing...

This is the best deep fry I have owned and am so glad I got it. My friend said it made the best frys he has ate. My wife just laughts when I tell her how great it cooks.
