Works great
by Lisa, WI

This works great if it is thin batter, not sure how it would work with a thicker batter.

Crap
by Barbara, OH

This broke the first day I used it. I was making cupcakes for work, so I decided to try it and it broke. Cheap plastic crap. I would rather pay a little more and have it made better.
Save your money and don't buy this.

I bought this product to use with cupcake batter since I have a hard time getting the same amount of batter into each cup. The first cupcake was easy enough, but the more cupcakes I filled, the harder it was to keep squeezing the handle long enough for the batter to come out. It took longer each time, maybe because there were air pockets in the batter or the batter didn't move down quickly enough after each squeeze. Cupcake batter is too thick for this product. It seems like pancake or waffle batter would work better. But what really irked me was the label. There were two sides and they covered the measurement lines. And I couldn't get them off! I tried peeling, soaking and scraping. I used water, Dawn, Purell, and even resorted to Goo Gone. Nothing worked. There is still residue on the outside. Come on Chicago Metallic, haven't you ever heard of repositional glue for labels on plastic containers? I'm sending it back!

Great concept, bad results
by Sheri, OR

The first time I used this it worked great and I was impressed. However after the 2nd time I used it, the plastic on the pull back handle shifted and removed itself from the metal handle.

Two major problems:
1) The plastic handle that the medal piece of the handle sits in twists away from the metal and wouldn't go back into place.
2) The metal piece that opens the valve at the bottom disengages continually from the handle so you can't open the valve to let the batter out without reattaching it many, many times.

Awesome for more than cupcakes
by Koreen, WA

I originally bought this for my grandchildren to use when we make cupcakes which is quite often. Not only was it perfect for my 6 and 8 year old grandkids to use without making a big mess spilling cake batter everywhere but I have found it to be great to use for any batters. It helps me keep everything the same size and there is no mess with spillage of the batters either. Its easy to use and equally as easy to clean.
