Corn Zipper (6-in.) by Kuhn Rikon

GREAT item. I'm a gadget nut and have been burned many times by the item not working as advertised. I bought this for my Mom who was using a paring knife to cut fresh corn off the cob. It delivers, just as advertised, safer than a knife and the curve of it fits the curve of the cob. I would highly recommend this item. And the fact that it is stainless and will not rust is also a nice feature. The only negative is that it was made in China, but now days, what isn't?

I have purchased many corn zippers over the past years and this by far has done the best job. Very happy with my purchase.

I love gadgets but this one is totally awesome!!! It really, really works. I prefer corn off the cob simply because it's easier to eat for me and less mess. I just made some corn and used this for the first time and I am very, very impressed. I think I may just order some for a few of my friends.

I love this thing. You can control the depth of the cut with a little practice, giving you the opportunity to "cut 'er right down to the cob", or leave a little of the creamy stuff on there. I like to cut shorter kernels, then take a blunt knife and remove the cream. Then I package it up in two batches: whole kernel and creamy stuff added to whole kernel. Thanks for this wonderful product. I got one for me and one for my daughter. Good gift!
