Corn Zipper (6-in.) by Kuhn Rikon

GREAT item. I'm a gadget nut and have been burned many times by the item not working as advertised. I bought this for my Mom who was using a paring knife to cut fresh corn off the cob. It delivers, just as advertised, safer than a knife and the curve of it fits the curve of the cob. I would highly recommend this item. And the fact that it is stainless and will not rust is also a nice feature. The only negative is that it was made in China, but now days, what isn't?

Have a son with braces and he removed the corn from three ears before I started eating. Great product and be careful very it is very sharp.

My daughter-in-law and I both tried the corn zipper and found it to be ok. We both had some difficulty with it cutting too deeply into the corn cob, I was freezing corn so I went back to using my sharp knife and found this to be faster. I will give it another try and see if it works better.

The Corn Zipper was quick and easy to use. After removing the corn I turned the Zipper around and used the back to scrape the juice into the bowl. That worked very well also. This is a great tool and certainly safer than using a knife. I would give it an A+ from my experience

This kitchen helper is by far the best I've ever used. I cut corn on 3 different occasions with it and I'm completely satisfied. I cut 14 doz., the 1st time 5, the next and 10 doz. the next and I wished I'd ordered 2 instead of one. It fit my hand perfectly and is razor sharp but very safe to use.
