Convection Microwave Oven and Grill (1.2-cu. ft.): Brushed Stainless by Cuisinart

We purchased this microwave oven the week before Christmas because our older Covection Oven decided to quit working. The oven shipped quickly and just in time for Christmas. Although it's a little smaller than our original, it has more features than our old oven. I was amazed how the oven can grill and rapidly bake food. Our other oven did not have this feature. I really enjoy cooking and baking in this little dynamo. I just wish it can in a 1.7 cu ft. I really enjoy grilling andd baking and it cuts the time to prepare food in half. Great product.

I haven't tried the grill portion but love the convection oven!. We are going through a heat wave and I hated firing up the main oven in the house. So I used the Cuisinart to bake cherry turnovers this morning. It did a fantastic job & they were baked evenly brown while the house stayed cool. Wish I had it a long time ago!!!

the product is expensive. It takes a bit of doing and reading of instructions to manage the grill and the convection features. I do like it as a supplement to my regular oven. I could bake in my regular oven and grill in the Cuisinart at the same time.

If one's regular oven is already convection and has a broiler (grill), then this Cuisinart's use will be limited and a plain cheaper microwave would be the best choice.
